Inpatient psychiatric coding

I have a new job at a small psychiatric hospital. We are state funded and have never coded CPTs. We have to start coding for professional services. My question is, I'm thinking we can only use E/M codes as the psych docs see the patients once per week and therapists once per week. Patients also see a treatment team every month that consists of the therapist, the psychiatrist, and family. I'm really at a loss as to how to set up the CPT coding aspect of this and I'm new and want to make a good impression so I can keep my job after my probation period is up. When I started I was only entering ICD-9 codes for diagnoses, but now they want me to do CPT coding. Help.. please :)

Do a Google search withe the following keywords.
site:www.psychiatry.org Codes Documentation Evaluation Management

I can't seem to pick up the actual link address, because it immediately downloads the PDF, but it is a good source for you.
The document that is downloaded is called: Codes and Documentation for Evaluation and Management Services, and is 60 pages.
It covers psychiatric services. Since it is from the American Psychiatric Association it should be a relevant source.
